Everyone enjoyed the great sunny weather at the end of term. We had lots of fun on the bouncy castle and having a water fight in the school grounds. On the last day of term we had a treat from the ice-cream van. A great end to our school year!

All the children enjoyed trips out of school at the end of term. Y.1/2 went to Burleigh Street in Irvinestown where they loved role playing and had lots of fun. Y.3/4 enjoyed swimming at Omagh Leisure Complex and playing at the Grange playpark. Y.5/6/7 went to Airtastic, Craigavon, where the children enjoyed the trampoline play area and bowling.

Well done to everyone for raising £353.50 for the Cancer Fund for Children. This was achieved through the children's participation in the 'Read On' school reading initiative. We were delighted to present a cheque to this very worthy cause.

Well done to Mrs. Long and the members of our Eco committee for all their work in helping keep our school eco friendly. We were delighted to be awarded with another Green Flag in June.

Omagh Conservation Volunteers came to school and helped the children plant lots of beautiful flowers. The children thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon and we are grateful for the group's kindness and generosity.

Y. 4-7 enjoyed a friendly football tournament at McClintock Primary School at the end of June. The girls and boys had a great day. Some great footballing skills were displayed!

Well done to all the children who participated in Cycling Proficiency lessons and received certificates for competence.

Y. 5-7 enjoyed a Sports Day at St. John's College on Tuesday 2nd June. They had a great day with pupils from Tummery P.S. and St. John's. There were some super performances in sprinting, high jump, long jump and shot putt. An ice cream at the end went down a treat! Well done everybody!

Despite the weather, we had a very enjoyable Sports Day on Monday 1st June. Everyone participated brilliantly in all the events and had lots of fun. Thank you to the local Spar and Brian Keys Tractors for sponsoring us; also to the Parent Support Group who provided refreshments for everyone. It was great to see parents and friends there to support the children.

Parents, staff and pupils enjoyed the opportunity to get together as a school community at our Breakfast Morning on Friday 22nd May. There was a great turnout of parents and friends.

Y.5-7 visited Titanic, Belfast on Monday 18th May and had a great day looking around the different exhibits and experiencing what it would have been like to work in the shipyard. Everyone has enjoyed learning about the fascinating but very sad story of the ship.

Y.5-7 had a fantastic time at Gortatole Outdoor Education Centre when they visited from 13th - 15th May. Along with pupils from Tummery Primary School and St. John's College, they enjoyed lots of activities: caving, wall climbing, archery, paddle sport, team games, bushcraft and orienteering. Well done to all the children who participated so well, challenging themselves with new and exciting experiences.

Well done to all the boys and girls who sang as part of a concert held in Holy Trinity Church, Dromore on Friday 24th April. Everyone had a very enjoyable night and the children did themselves proud! We were very grateful for the opportunity to be part of this very special event.

The School Council organised a very successful Toy and Book sale in aid of school funds and Abrahm, a boy the school sponsors through Compassion. It was great to welcome family and friends. Thank you to everyone who supported the sale in any way.

The children worked in groups to design and make Titanic ships as part of their World Around Us topic.

Everyone enjoyed an Easter Egg Hunt in the school grounds before going off to enjoy the Easter holidays. Lots of fun was had by all.

Lots of fabulous costumes were on show at our World Book Day Dress Up competition. On the day, the children also enjoyed a Book Swap and other book related activities and competitions. Well done everybody!

Year 7 pupils Erin, Shiloh and Freddie, represented the school at a local Environmental Youth Speak Competition run by Fermanagh and Omagh District Council. The competition took place in the South West College, Omagh where the children spoke on the theme, 'The Importance of Reuse and Repair' Well done to everyone for participating so well.
