The children performed their Christmas plays brilliantly to an audience of family and friends on Wednesday 17 th  December. 'Noisy Nativity' was performed by Y.1 -4, followed by a performance of 'A Ruff, Ruff Night in Bethlehem' by Y.5-7. Refreshments were kindly provided by the Parent Support Group and after a draw, lucky winners received beautiful hampers. Well done everybody!

At Christmas time we love to visit Kenwell's shop in Dromore. There are always lots of lovely decorations to look at.

The children are getting very excited as Christmas gets closer! They enjoyed a fabulous Christmas dinner on 11 th  December as well as participating in Christmas Jumper Day in aid of the Save the Children Fund. There is lots of fun in the classrooms with various different Christmas themed activities being planned.  Everyone is busy preparing for our Christmas Production on Wednesday 17 th  December at 7pm. All will be made welcome!

Monday 10 th  November was Odd Socks Day to celebrate the beginning of this year's Anti-Bullying Week.  We remembered that we are all unique and special.

All the children throughout the school performed brilliantly at our Harvest Assembly. There was a great turnout of parents and friends.

Learning outdoors is always fun at Dromore Primary School!

Years 3 and 4 have been enjoying their topic about World War 2. They have enjoyed learning indoors and outdoors.

The key stage 2 children have been busy finding out about the human body as part of the topic, Wonderful Me. They have also been out and about learning about the poet, Rev. W. F. Marshall in Sixmilecross and attending a pollinator workshop at the South West College in Omagh. All the children throughout the school have been learning Mandarin with Nancy.

Y.5-7 enjoyed a trip to Duff Land, Sixmilecross. They had fun playing laser tag and driving dodgems.

The children enjoyed picking the strawberries from our polytunnel and eating a tasty treat afterwards. The older children made s'mores.
